These two threw the wedding of the year in their backyard! They worked so hard to prep their home for this intimate micro wedding + hired the best of the best vendors to help them pull it off. Choosing which images to post for this was sooo very difficult because I loved absolutely everything about their wedding day.
The intense love could be felt from every family member + friend that were present to help Shalayne + Andrea get ready for their wedding. Everyone was willing to help with anything that needed to be done. You can see their excitement + FEEL it in these photos. It was such an honor to witness.
The Details
There’s lots of details that went into this Willo District LGBTQ+ backyard wedding! The florals, the white dance floor, the chairs, the ARCH! That’s just for the ceremony! Bloom + Blueprint really exceeded all expectations with this design! Dont’cha think?!
Ceremony Sweetness
The ceremony was so sweet! It was officiated by Andrea’s father, Victor, who was SO excited for his daughter! Shalayne’s sibling, Atlas, read heartfelt words + through it all there wasn’t a soul without tears in their eyes.
Prioritizing Real Moments
It was really important to Shalayne + Andrea to enjoy cocktail hour with their friends + family. So we prioritized that time + allowed them to mingle with their guests while we photographed the incredible details of their reception table. They also got a super sweet moment to themselves to have a little reception area “reveal”!
