Engagement adventures in Sedona don’t always need to include long, treacherous hikes! Hiking for your photos is not my ideal adventure + most of my couples agree! Anything I can do to keep us from sweating, amiright?
Usually I make a day trip out of engagement adventures in Sedona, but this time I stayed the night + it was the BEST decision. I stayed at Oak Creek Terrace cabins + I would highly recommend them!
I was so happy to show Krissa + Justin my fave spot in Sedona! Even though it was the end of December it was still pretty warm in the sun, but we had a blast frolicking among the red rocks.
I even had them use their blanket as a cape + run at full speed past me. I think those are some of my favorite photos! Playing with motion is really fun + can have amazing results. I love how they really evoke so much emotion.
We piled into the car + traveled to our second location. Got stuck in traffic (gaahhh!!!) + juuuuust made it to our next spot with a little bit of light left. Krissa changed in the car with full tights + a dress + boots! Honestly I don’t know how she did it! The sun setting on the red rocks was perfect + as we raced the night, we definitely froze. But these shots were worth it!
Thank you Krissa + Justin for sweating at your first location then comparatively freezing your asses, fingers + noses off with me at the second! In all the fun, we totally forgot to pop the champagne you brought, which means we’re poppin’ extra bottles at your wedding!! 🙌🏻 🙌🏻
