What are the 5 best ways to use your wedding photos?
What do you do with your wedding photos after you receive them from your photographer? This question is one that some clients don’t actually know they need answered. They are sooooo excited to actually see their photos, they look through the online gallery, then the images just stay there. Maybe a few are posted to social media, but you don’t want to only post these beauties on Insta, right?! So, let’s break down the 5 best ways to use your photos.
No. 1 Share Your Gallery
First up, in the 5 best ways to use your wedding photos – share your gallery! We’ve already established you’re sharing your photos on social media as soon as you can, after receiving your gallery. But, did you know you can share your gallery with every single guest who was at your wedding? Sometimes there’s a specific link that’s just for you, so pay attention to what your photographer tells you in their delivery email. When I deliver your wedding photos you receive an email from the gallery (this email + link is just for you), but I also send you another email with the link you can share. You can post this link on your wedding website, you can share it individually or even print it on your thank you postcards! Which leads me to – our next way you can use your photos!
No. 2 Thank You Postcards
5 best ways to use your wedding photos has to include Thank You postcards. Whether you order them on your own or through me, you can order Thank You Postcards. If you want to order these through me, I suggest you order them prior to your wedding so that they can be printed with one of your favorite highlight images within the week after your wedding. Thank You Postcards are a quick + easy way to share a favorite image while saying “thank you” to your guests! I automatically include the gallery link in the design, so that’s one less thing you have to think about!
No. 3 Order an Album
Albums tend to be the very first physical product you will be displaying in your home. It is a great way to memorialize the full story of your wedding day. Your photographer likely has an ordering process to help you choose your images + decide on other options like sizing + cover material. I have a full concierge process to make choosing your photos + ordering your album super streamlined. If you didn’t buy an album at the beginning of your booking process, you’ll want to start thinking about that. Albums purchased through me are archival quality. This means you can pass them down for generations to come!

Your wedding images will adorn your walls of your home, right?! OF COURSE they will! Choose your favorite portraits first + decide where in your home you’re going to display them. Are you printing large prints for above a bed or couch? Or maybe doing a gallery wall? Whatever you decide, measure your wall space + visually mark out different sized images with masking tape.
