The reality of getting married in the desert is heat + sun, dirt on your dress + in your shoes, cactus getting stuck in your dress (or my shoes!) + if you’re doing it right – amazing photos + so 👏🏻 much 👏🏻 fun 👏🏻
Tori + Scott I’m still not over it 🙌🏻🎉💜
We started the day with all the gals at an AirBnB for getting ready + detail photos. Tori had 2 dresses + 2 pairs of shoes. This girl knows how to showcase her style on her wedding day!
The venue was about 40 minutes from the AirBnB. A majority of the drive was a dirt road. We’re heading to the middle of the desert, remember!? If you’ve attended a Cloth + Flame wedding or even a dinner of theirs, you know how epic of a party they can throw! So, the drive down a dirt road is worth it!
Once we got to our venue, we started with the first look + a few portraits.
OF COURSE when Tori’s dad arrived we had to capture that reaction. So sweet!
Colors of the desert.
The ceremony was beautifully placed to showcase the desert landscape. I love the colors they chose! Tori told me her inspiration was “colors of the desert”. She nailed it!
A few more portraits of our gorgeous couple + then we’re off to the party!
This wedding was so personalized.
Did you spot the dress change?! Did you see the cows that joined the reception during their first dance? What about the cigar roller? There were so many unexpected, little pieces to this wedding that made it so unique!
Their sparkler exit was the perfect ending to their day!
